Item Description
Lot consists of three 3.5x3.75" books obtained as premiums from Pan-Am Motor Oils. Lots were published by Whitman Publishing Co. and include: "G-Men and Kidnapped Justice," 1938; "Ella Cinders Plays Duchess," 1938; "The Captain and the Kids with Uncle Seltzer," 1938. First book has some light wear with a .5" crease in bottom right-hand corner and two penciled names at top and right margins. Some very minor surface paper rubs. Pages are complete with ink name on inside front cover and top of first page. Fine. "Ella Cinders" has moderate handling wear with scattered heavy creasing across covers resulting in surface rubs. Penciled on front and back cover pages have name penciled on top of front page. Some soiling prevelant on front and back covers. Good. Captain and the Kids has some spotting and surface paper rubs as well as three 1" creases on back upper corner. VG.
