Item Description
1.5" scarce 1935 brass badge showing Tarzan coming through jungle foliage towards the viewer and holding a large knife in one hand. There are some widely scattered 1/16" marks on the brass bkg. but the luster in nearly 100% intact and very glossy. The red, black and dark blue paint is 99% complete. Issued by Milk Dealers & Distributors of Dayton, Ohio, sponsors of radio serial #1, "Tarzan of the Apes" on station WHIO in Dayton in 1936-1937. The badge was licensed by Stephen Slesinger and produced by Etched Products Corp. An outstanding NM example. See next two items.
