Item Description
1.5" from 1935. Same design as previous item but this one has sponsor's name on bottom edge "Bursley Coffees." Right bkg. has 1/8" and pair of near pinpoint dark tarnish spots. There is also luster off letters "LU" of "Club" and words "Bursley Coffees." However, luster remains complete and glossy on 80% of the surface and the paint is 99% complete. This version came from G.F. Bursley, makers of Burco Coffee, who sponsored radio serial #1, "Tarzan of the Apes" on station WOWO-WGL in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1934-1935. The badge was licensed by Stephen Slesinger and produced by Etched Products Corp. VF and rare.
