Item Description
11.25x14.25" hardcover book printed by Columbia Pictures to promote films for the 1932-1933 year. Book highlights stars and films w/vivid art and color. Some stars include Wheeler & Woolsey, Buck Jones, Jack Holt, Frank Capra, Adolphe Menjou. Films include "Bottom of the Sea, The Bitter Tea of General Yen, Destroyer, The Dictator" as well as pages devoted to Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney’s Silly Symphonies. Art utilized for Silly Symphonies page is quite different from the usual Disney style w/very stylized characters. Other animated shorts are highlighted w/parade led by Mickey Mouse and includes Krazy Kat and Scrappy among others. Cover shows moderate wear, w/insect damage to silver foil surface paper. VG.
