Item Description
Lot of three 8.5x11" typed documents concerning French distribution rights to Disney productions through Cinedis company. First is dated Mar. 20, 1956 and concerns rights to "Westward Ho! - The Wagons" live-action Disney film. Signed by Walt Disney Productions Vice-President Gunther R. Lessing. Remaining two documents are both dated May 25, 1959. First concerns rights to "The Shaggy Dog" and "Disneyland U.S.A." Second concerns rights to "Sleeping Beauty" animated feature, "Grand Canyon" and 1956 Donald Duck animated short "How To Have An Accident In The Home." Both have been signed by Walt Disney Productions Vice-President of Advertising and Sales E. Cardon Walker. All are eight pages long and stapled. In addition, each document has a pair of punched holes at top as issued and additional red ink stamped image of Mickey Mouse and "Bank Of America" (see Walt Disney mortgage #2042) penciled notation at top on first page of each. Scattered handling wear and some corner tip wear by VF overall. Interesting insight into the world of Disney films. From the Phil Delaney Collection.
