Item Description
Exceptional doll which is the smaller of two sizes. 13" tall to the top of Donald's head, 16" tall to the top of his fuzzy hat. The larger size is 16.5" to the top of his head. c. 1938. Doll is dressed in felt outfit w/brass buttons, braid accent, leatherette belt w/snap and tall plush hat w/braid chin strap. Oilcloth eyes and felt tail. Original wood baton is missing, but outfit is o/w complete. Felt shows slight fade and white areas of doll have trace of age toning. Jacket has some tiny insect holes upon close inspection. VF. Scarce. The last example of this doll we offered (in slightly better condition) sold for $1,979.
