Item Description
Lot of 44 from set of 64, each is 2-3/8x2.5" on thin card stock. Late 1930s. This French company is known for its card sets based on US issues such as G-Men, Pirate Picture and Wild West Picture Puzzle. Card fronts feature photos, text backs. A variety of aircraft are featured including an Autogyro, Douglas DC 2, China Clipper, Fokker, Spitfire, etc. One card features Lindbergh. Cards are: 3-5,7-9,11-13,15-23,26,28-31,35,36,38-42,45,46,49-51,53-56,58,59,61,62,64. All have either a clear tape strip and/or surface paper lift on back. A dozen cards have trace of clear tape on front margin. Other scattered wear/aging. While images still remain nice overall, cards grade just Fair to VG. A scarce issue.
