Item Description
1966. 11.5x11.5x1.25" deep sturdy cardboard box w/metal reinforced corners, metal plate to hold labels and cloth securing straps w/metal clasps. Contains 10.75" dia. film canister that holds 20-minute 16mm Sears, Roebuck And Co. "Batting With Ted Williams" color film that was shown at Sears stores and was available for loan, as evidenced by postal remnants on box. Box has numerous partial labels and stamps and is Fine. Film canister is Exc. w/contents NM on original steel Compco reel. Comes w/4.25x7" booklet w/16 pages entitled "Batting Tips From Ted" and includes baseball methods and tips from Williams as well as last page ad for the film offered here. Handling wear but VF. While the booklet is fairly common, the actual film is scarce.
