Auction #207 - Part II
Item numbers 1235 through 2949 in auction 207
Item Description
Two 7-3/8x9.25" frames contain original superbly rendered watercolor art on artboards depicting the famous 1930s Mickey Mouse figure w/"Lollipop" hands. Art shows toy in profile, in two different poses. Vintage frames w/original paper backing and labels date the art to the 1930s. Labels are for The Higbee Co., a Cleveland, OH. based department store. Both backs have large tear/small chips to backing paper, but art displays Exc. Art is unsigned and likely done by an art student/aspiring artist or a Mickey mouse fan who owned the toy upon its initial production. Unique and great pieces to display w/your figure.
