Item Description
11.25x17-1/8" thin artboard featuring original pen and ink art by comic artist Kelly Krantz for "Sleepwalker" issue #25 published by Marvel Comics in June, 1992. Issue was written by Sleepwalker creator Bob Budiansky w/interior art by Krantz and inking by Harry Candelario. Sleepwalker is a superhero who operates in dreams and starred in his own comic book for 33 issues from June, 1991 to Feb., 1994. Art shows Sleepwalker charging towards viewer from the mind of sleeping man in foreground. Two additional Sleepwalker characters flank him and an army of Sleepwalkers follow. Complete w/paste-on Marvel indica at upper left corner and paste-on title and "Invasion: Earth!" story title past-on. Various inked notations on margins, which have been signed in black ink by inker Candelario at lower left. Some scattered glue stains by Invasion paste-on, but art displays Exc.
