Item Description
10.75x11.75x10.75" tall (14.25" tall to top of folding sign) tin litho store display designed to hold 48 "Longer Lasting And More Powerful Than Ever" batteries. c. 1950s. Top of display has great graphics of Burgess mascot zebra holding a striped Burgess battery. Back of this has partial paper label w/battery prices. Left side has attachment to hold flashlight for display. Right side also had this attachment, though now missing. Scattered lt. wear w/tiny scratches and paint nicks. Two 1" streaks of bare metal showing on fold-up sign at top of display from rubbing against base. Fine. Attractive display.
