Omni-Graphics Inc. c. 1960s. 4.75x10.75x6.75" tall metal lunchbox shaped like classic first generation of the Volkswagen Type 2 van w/the split windshield, informally called the Microbus, Splitscreen, or Splittie among modern fans, that was produced from 1950 through the end of the 1967 model year. Scattered lt. general wear w/a few paint nicks/scratches but box remains bright, glossy and VF/Exc. Comes w/generic-looking but as issued 5.25" tall molded thin plastic thermos. Cup w/raised "VW" design. Inside of both pieces are styrofoam inserts and lower half also contains original plastic bottle w/tin cap. NM. imaginative design. Scarce.
