c. 1950. 1-1/8” chrome cased watch has great design on dial w/ baseball diamond and full figure image of Robinson in baseball uniform w/facsimile signature swinging bat. Watch hand is the bat, second hand is baseball, and bases are designated “12,3,6,9”. Text at bottom “Swiss Made”, otherwise unmarked. Leather band is well worn. Good. Case back has moderate luster wear, rest of case shows wear but has bright luster. Crystal has slight yellowing. Dial has barely noticeable tiny “pinch” at bottom edge, but otherwise clean and Exc. Can be wound and ticks a bit but needs a basic cleaning to keep time. Very rare and first we’ve offered.
