Item Description
c. 1940s. 15 of 24 numbered aviation series issued on back panels of cereal boxes designed to be cut out. Listed in the American Card Catalog as F279-7 A & B. Each is approximately 4x 6”. All have image of “Captain Sparks Commander” in wing logo design. First series is complete set of 12. Scarce second series “A” has three of 12: # 4A, 7A, 11A. Scenes include: cadet flyers, catapulting Navy scouts, Marine parachutists, laying smoke screen, peeling off. All are relatively neatly cut w/ clean art. Overall Fine. Nice action scenes.
