Item Description
16x16.75” wood frame has double archival mat w/ 9.75x10.75” opening. Scene in India ink has Dick Tracy talking to man on wrist TV. Art has hand inked “Chester Gould © Chicago Tribune” signature. Art was likely done around 1964, the time the artist introduced this inventive follow-up to the 2-Way Wrist Radio. Borders of art are lightly tanned, bottom of Gould’s signature is partially obscured by mat as framed. Art is otherwise Exc. One of the largest and nicest fully finished specialty originals we have ever offered with bonus of historic early image of Wrist TV invention. Done for same person as following item #1832.
