Item Description
6x9" hardcover W/420 glossy-pages. Published in 1959 by DeWitt, the book contains "A Descriptive List Of Medalets, Tokens, Buttons, Ferrotypes And Other Lapel Devices Relating To The National Political Campaigns In The United States From 1789 Through 1889." Example pieces are illustrated. A "must have" reference for collectors of pre-1892 items. Long out-of-print. Much reddish tone has faded from the covers due to moisture. Also upper edge and outer edge of pages have lt. staining w/rippling to a 3x3x4 upper portion of the pages. However, pages are not stuck together and binding remains intact. Our last copy (in better condition) reached $200.
