7x9" typed letter on "Office Of The Vice-President-Elect" letterhead is dated Jan. 16, 1969 and mentions enclosed autographed photo taken by York, PA. newsman Harry McLaughlin. Letter also mentions Agnew trying to secure McLaughlin a souvenir inaugural invitation. Letter has been signed in blue ink. Two .5" sections of tape at top margin, left piece has .5" tear by it. Fine, though signature displays Exc. Comes w/7.75x10" glossy photo mentioned in letter that has been signed by Agnew in black felt tip pen. Scattered lt. handling wear, most only visible in reflected light. VF/Exc. Last is 7x9.75" Inaugural Committee reception invitation. Light handling wear at top. VF. Harry McLaughlin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
