Item Description
c. 1972. 12.25x14.5" Vellum sheet has 12x12.75” image area in ink and watercolor showing Redford as Jeremiah Johnson holding rifle surrounded by action scenes from movie. Signed in ink “Leonardi ” at lower right. Sheet has age toning around edges and cellophane tape at corners to hold it in place on larger board. Image area will mat to VF appearance. The film plot had Redford as a hermit mountain man who gets in a dispute w/Crow Indians. Comes w/oversize glossy publicity photo w/nearly identical main image. Nice to frame together. See artist’s biography in #1809.
