Item Description
1.75” with covered metal back and vertical pin. Back has stamp of maker St. Louis Button Co. Front features American flag and Mexican flag above their portraits all against gold background with text “El Paso, Tex./Oct. 16, 1908.” This was the historic, first ever meeting between a President of the United States and a President of Mexico. Listed as Hake #3124 with 2004 guide value of $600.00. Surface has very slightest wear and of a microscopic nature. The piece displays totally clean and glossy with near perfect centering.
