11.5x14x3" deep complete vinyl ring binder from 1972 issued by card company Regency for store display/use. Seven-ring binder holds a total of 39 stiff paper sheets, each 10.5x13.5" in a variety of colors including green/purple/yellow/pink. Pages contain totally different Peter Max cards, all w/Christmas and/or peace theme including images of Santa Claus and Max's classic doves. On the back of the first page is an index listing stock numbers for the cards plus "The Greeting Card Association Creed" and Regency company name. Each card example page has price information printed at bottom margin for quantities per style. 30 of the cards are 5x6.5" to 6.5x8.5" and for the most part feature choice color Max art on outside, many w/additional bw illustrations inside plus greetings and printed example names. Features a wide variety of Peter Max art, some of which are reproduced from limited edition serigraphs and these are noted along w/card information. Aside from these standard format cards, there are two different types of specialty cards. There are three choice foil mini-poster cards which are accompanied by a 4x5" Christmas card featuring Max art. There are four special poster cards which have a fully opened size of 8.5x13". A number of the standard cards have foil design. All standard cards and posters have an example envelope attached behind the cards w/exception of the four mini-posters w/small cards. We could go into great detail describing these cards but suffice it to say this is an incredible and exceptional collection in which the cards individually are scarce, let alone in this complete and exclusive store binder set.
