Auction #207 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1234 in auction 207
Item Description
This is the plate example from the Collectible Pin-back Buttons section Organizations #43. Button is 1.75" with metal back and bar pin. On the reverse right side some of the celluloid is pulling away over a length of 1" and this makes a small edge bump at upper left when viewed from the front. A tiny section of celluloid also has pair of 1/8" tears on the edge but not obvious. This was a Maryland agricultural area until World War I when the government acquired the land for use in chemical warfare research, testing and manufacturing. This piece is from the 1930s Works Progress Administration and features serial number "166." Comes with Hake's COA.
