27x41" poster for original release of the 1949 Republic Pictures 12-chapter serial starring Clayton Moore as Zorro (before he assumed the role of The Lone Ranger). Moore is depicted in full Zorro costume w/smaller image of female co-star Pamela Blake at bottom as well as numerous Western action scenes. Poster has been signed in black felt tip pen, Moore adding character name "Zorro." Poster was signed in person and was obtained by a lifelong Western collector/enthusiast. Folded as issued, poster shows wear 2" puncture/tear at center w/tape repair on reverse and 1" split at top center fold. 2.25" split a bottom fold crease intersection and 1" and 1.5" vertical tears at bottom center. Fold lines have scattered tiny tears, though these are not that noticeable. Poster remains bright and clean and displays VG. Signature area still displays Exc. A scarce Clayton Moore signed item. Comes with Hake's COA.
