Box contains 8.75" tall limited edition cold-cast porcelain statue depicting Fess Parker as Davy Crockett. Released in 2004 (the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney's "Davy Crockett" TV series) as part of the Walt Disney Classics Collection, this statue being limited to 500 produced. This has been numbered 344/500 and has been hand-signed by the artist, Kent Melton in black felt tip pen. In addition to the cold-cast porcelain, statue includes bronze and pewter straps to Davy's powder horn and his rifle is bronze. This is one of the featured statues for the 2004 Celebration of Walt Disney Art Classics Convention that was held at Disneyland May 14-16, 2004. NM. Comes w/registration card, WDCC catalog booklet and matching numbered COA. Additionally, this statue comes w/a 4.25x5-3/8" card printed for this set w/a message from Fess Parker himself concerning his happy memories of playing Davy Crockett.
