Item Description
Original box w/illustrated lid contains 10.25" tall plush-covered bear w/tin litho shoes and tin tray attached at waist and tin cup and tin litho "Cola" bottle in hands, an exact likeness to the classic Coca-Cola glass bottle. Remote control attached via original wires. 1950s. Yonezawa of Japan. Functions include - bear drinks, walks, opens mouth and eyes light up. All functions work. This toy was produced in both black and white colors, this is white version. One foot has lt. oxidation and fur is lightly aged, but overall toy is working and Fine. Box has surface paper lift from store price sticker removal and some inking beneath. Lid has 1.75" tear to side panel and tape repair to one corner Fine. An interesting take w/a polar bear enjoying cola decades before Coca-Cola's popular polar bear advertisements.
