Tin litho toy with built-in key is 7.5" long with 6.5" height and comes in original box. Copyright 1938. The three box flaps from the right side are here but detached, outer flap has tape repair to reverse of the closure tab. Box has additional trace of edge wear, few small puncture marks caused by the car's axles. Both illustrated front and back panels remain bright and clean for display. Still displays Fine. Toy depicts Charlie as the driver and his name appears on grille and trunk. Toy works and travels around in an erratic fashion as his head turns and car rears up every so often. Toy has scattered trace of tiny paint nicks/scratches but remains totally bright and glossy. Still a Fine to VF example of this classic wind-up.
