Auction #207 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1234 in auction 207
Item Description
3” with cardboard back and bar pin. We’ve shown both sides of this item as the cardboard back has a little surface paper removed and the cardboard which holds the bar pin in place was partially torn along the thin line which holds the bar. This has been very neatly restored and the pin functions properly. The front text “Ask Me” refers to the name of a card game used as a premium by Quaker Cereals c. 1934 which had a complete title of “Ask Me-The Game Of Baseball Facts.” Front of the button displays totally bright and clean. In reflected light there are several scattered areas with essentially microscopic rippling of the celluloid but these marks are small and very minor. Button has full gloss and no stain. Displays Mint. Scarce.
