Item Description
6.5” tall and quite substantial in weight. Top has elaborate design around blue enamel initials that stand for the fraternal order slogan “Charity, Hope, & Protection.” Ribbon is deep blue heavy velvet and it joins a 2-1/8” heavy suspension with deeply recessed center but then a raised shield bearing the initials of the group “A.O.U.W.” Reverse of this piece is hand engraved “Presented To/T.K. Eldridge/By The Members Of/Fidelity Lodge No. 3/A.O.U.W./As A Token Of Brotherly Love/Jan’y-1st 1894.” Although the piece has not been tested we suspect it is silver with a gold wash. Some scattered minor loss of the gold finish but overall condition is extremely Fine. Impressive and unique.
