3.5"x5.5" folded sheet of stiff cardboard which once held nine litho buttons marked on reverse with name of children's clothing maker Comic Togs. See following two lots. Card front has nine pinholes where the buttons were mounted plus a light crease across the top and tiny bit of lower corner tip wear. An original staple remains in place. Card is titled "Famous Comic Buttons/10¢ A Card/Wear'em Collect'em/Swap'em." The rear cardboard panel has diagonal creases intended to be folded back to create an easel for display. Additional text reads "Hey Kids!" and instructs to begin a button collection for use on sweaters, caps and jackets etc. Folder remains extremely clean and we believe this is the only example we've offered in five decades.
