Item Description
c. 1980s. 9x12” art board has wonderful India ink self-caricature of Beck under “Idea Bulb” holding drawing board which has photo stat letter written by Beck regarding not receiving complaints. Art is initialed w/Beck’s pseudonym “W.W.” at lower right. Art was done for Fawcett Collectors of America newsletter “FCA/SOB” #12 published by Bernie McCarthy and edited by Beck. A cover letter is attached to front of art w/ink note from Beck. Stat is dark from being glued into place, easily replaced. Art image area Exc. Great image of the top Captain Marvel Golden Age artist.
