Item Description
c. 1936. 9.5x12” sheet has highly detailed lead pencil image almost filling the page. Tiny but distinct and detailed 5/8” tall Snow White can be seen running in center forest clearing surrounded by spooky trees w/faces and ends of branches resembling hands reaching towards her. Bottom margin has bit of tanning in three areas from cellophane tape removal. Partially obscured “Horvath” signature in lead pencil can be seen under tan area at lower right corner. Upper right corner tip has small lead pencil “231”. Corner tips have pinholes. Lt. dust soil and paper aging. Image area will frame to Exc. appearance. Superb design for a major dramatic scene in this classic animated feature film.
