7.75" tall tin robot with built-in key comes in original box. 1950s by Yoshiya, Japan. The plain box bottom has trace of staple rust, lid itself is not affected. Box o/w remains exceptionally clean, Exc. Toy works and as it walks forward sparks are visible through the transparent red inserts of eyes and mouth openings. Has tiny scattered paint nicks, few factory paint touch-ups only noticeable upon close inspection. Appearance remains totally bright and clean. VF.
