Large and impressive 20.5x46.25x5.75" deep custom made, velvet-lined display case w/glass cover holds 41" long Ibanez acoustic guitar which has been signed in black felt tip pen by Yusuf Islam, more commonly known by his former stage name Cat Stevens, a British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Stevens' early 1970s records "Tea For The Tillerman" and "Teaser And The Firecat" were both certified triple platinum and his 1972 album "Catch Bull At Four" sold half a million copies in the first two weeks of release alone and was Billboard's number-one LP for three consecutive weeks. Islam has added "Peace Train Take This Country...Peace" inscription. In addition to the signed guitar, a CD copy of Cat Steven's 2000 greatest hits album "The Very Best Of Cat Stevens" has been included in the display, mounted beside the guitar's neck. On the other side is a photo of Islam w/in-person autograph collector Michael Wehrmann, who holds this very signed guitar along w/another. Exc. display.
