Item Description
16.25" tall painted composition figure on 7.75x7.75" plywood base. c. 1950s. Buttons on figure read "Grips." These were sneakers made by the Beacon Falls Rubber Footwear Co. of CT. Plywood base reads "Beaky Thinks They're Swell!" Nicely made figure. Plywood base shows age. Figure has had professional repairs to left arm at elbow, but still displays VF. Only example known.
