1940 Ralston premium lot consists of 16-3/8" long cardboard tube w/Ralston Straight Shooters Club Checkerboard Square return address label and contents sticker contains 16" long yellow cardboard tube blow gun w/repeated "Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooters" logos and wooden tip (w/added tape) on end. Comes w/12.5x15.75" rolled paper target that has Ralston cereal box in center and art image at lower left of Tom on his horse Tony and art of the Old Wrangler at upper right. Text across bottom promotes Tom Mix radio show. Comes w/four balsa wood darts that have no points as made. Instruction text at bottom of target notes that darts are designed to blow out tail first. Blow gun tube has lt. dust soiling. Thin paper target has bit of wear/rippling w/three pinholes but target remains Fine w/bright colors. Each dart has different color thin plastic tails. Comes w/11.25x14.75" clipped Sunday comics newspaper ad promoting this Ralston premium w/mail-in coupon. Ad is tanned w/age but suitable for framing. Rarely found this complete. VF.
