Item Description
Original generic 2x9x1" mailer box contains 1939-1940 Ralston premium. Mailer is missing return address label and all end flaps at open end. Just Good and comes along. 8.5x12.5x1.75" printed balsa wood premium plane w/metal hinges and front weight. "Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooters" emblem on each wing. Scattered oxidation to metal parts. Horizontal tail piece missing, o/w plane is structurally sound. Fine. Comes w/1.75" tall metal parachutist w/strings attached to tissue paper parachute. Scattered oxidation to figure. Fine. 5x7.5" two-sided instruction sheet is aged and shows wear. VG. Comes w/10.75x15.25" clipped Sunday comics newspaper ad w/mail-in coupon. VF. This premium is scarce due to the fragile nature of the plane.
