Contains 8.5x11" typed letter w/stamped signature of "Curley Bradley - The Tom Mix Of The Rodeo" telling woman "The Name Which You Suggested For My Collie Dog Has Been Selected By Our Judges As A Prize-Winner. Although You Did Not Win The Grand Prize, The Judges Felt Your Entry Was So Unusual That They Are Awarding A Brand New Ingersoll 'Avenue' Wristwatch. On behalf Of Sheriff Mike Shaw, Wash And All The Ralston Straight Shooters - Congratulations On Your Fine Entry." Comes w/7.75x13.75" clipped Sunday newspaper comics section ad w/art of Tom Mix and collie w/title "Big Tom Mix Contest 3101 Valuable Prizes!" including bicycles and Ford convertible. Watch is shown as third prize group. Ad has neat archival tape repair on two tears at lower right on back, vertical fold through center. Back flap of envelope has tear as opened but front of envelope and letter are Exc. Rare.
