Item Description
Lot of 1930s Ralston Straight Shooters Club premiums. First is 8.5x11" paper certificate issued in 1935. "Tom Mix Official Commission - Ranch Boss" certificate has inked name of member at center. Text states the "Ranch Boss" title "Carries With It The Highest Honor I Can Award To Any Of My Straight Shooters." Scattered age staining and handling wear w/creases at edges. VG. Next is first issue of "Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooter News" premium newspaper that opens to 9.25x14-1/8" w/four pages. Issued in 1937. Premiums shown include skull cap, automatic pencil, lariat and frame w/Tom Mix fan photo. Newspaper is folded as issued w/additional vertical fold and even aging. Fine. Last is 3.5x5.5" stiff paper Tom Mix/Ralston survey folder for recipient's mother. 1930s. Folder includes survey including six questions related to breakfast and/or Ralston use. Final question is curious "Do You Own A Car?" followed by "What Make/Year?" Card is perforated at seam for easy removal. Exc. All items are scarce.
