Item Description
Lot of three manuals and two sets of five fan photos (two being on stiff cardboard) w/corresponding envelopes. Issued by Ralston in 1934 for their Tom Mix Straight Shooters premium club. 8.5x10.5" mailer envelopes each contain different fan photos, six of which clearly feature Tom Mix. The two stiff photos show him w/a boy and girl eating Ralston cereal. Envelopes have scattered wear and are Fine overall while photos are VF. Scarce sets. Included w/lot are two differing issues of "The Life Of Tom Mix" secret manuals and a "Tom Mix Straight Shooters Album," including the first version issued in 1933 as well as 1941 and 1945 versions. Each has biographical content about Tom Mix and various photos, club codes, and Ralston ads. Premium decoder membership badge, "Straight Shooter Captain" medal and horseshoe nail ring are featured. Scattered pinch creases to spines. Fine overall.
