Item Description
Lot of 11 includes 5x7" "Official Handbook For Members Of Frank Buck's Adventurers Club" issued in 1934 as a Pepsodent premium. Pinch creases to spine. Handbook comes w/original mailing envelope which shows aging/wear. Fine. Next is 3" long "Frank Buck" Ivory Soap premium pocket knife. Buck's facsimile signature is on one side, and show lt. wear. Fine. Next is 5/8" dia. enameled brass "Frank Buck's Jungleland - N.Y. World's Fair" charm from 1939. Charm has lt. luster wear and is Fine. Next are two similar 1.25" dia. cello pinback buttons w/bw photo portrait of Buck. First is just button w/"Frank Buck's Jungleland - N.Y. World's Fair" text. Glossy and Exc. Other button reads "Frank Buck's Jungleland - New York World's Fair" and has Fair ribbon w/plaster filler figural celluloid elephant attachment. Exc. Also included in lot are promotional folder and flyer for Frank Buck's Jungle Camp at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and a pamphlet for his 1939 New York World's Fair exhibition. Both are Fine. Last item in lot is 1-7/8" octagonal brass luster frame "Frank Buck Explorer's Sun Watch" that has inset glow-in-dark plastic dial w/inset plastic compass and hinged brass piece that raises to serve as the sundial pointer. Issued in 1949 in association w/Jack Armstrong and Wheaties. Comes w/worn instruction booklet. Sun Watch has lt. wear but still glows and is VF. An instant collection.
