Item Description
c.1920s-early 1930s. Each is quart size complete w/metal spouts and metal carrier. Sizes range from 12.5” to 13.75” tall overall. One spout has “Jay B. Rhodes Kalamazoo Mich. Pat. S. Pend.” text. Three spouts have “B.O. Rhodes Kalamazoo Mich” text; one has patent date of Jan.17,1922; another has patent date of Aug.4,1931; third one has no patent date. All have embossed text. Four bottles have “Jay B. Rhodes” text in script on front, but backs of two have additional text. One has “Havoline” text in block letters, the other has “J.B. R. Co. Minn. 13” and “Mass. Approved DS.B-5”. Fifth bottle is more narrow and has block text on front “The ‘Kalamazoo’ Jay B. Rhodes company Kalamazoo , Michigan”. All have arrow w/fill line instructions. Lt. aging.
