Item Description
5.75" tall tin litho. Made by Chein in the 1930s but at the time Ohio Art held the license for Disney sand pails and therefore Chein was forced to produce this product, featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse-like characters. Images include Minnie digging in the sand for clams, Mickey pointing and carrying pail full of clams as three ducks (including one in a sailor outfit very similar to Donald Duck's), and three Krazy Kats in boat. Scattered lt. traces of wear, but appearance remains bright and glossy. VF. Comes w/8.5" long tin litho shovel which shows moderate wear and is VG. Scarce.
