Item Description
9.5x12x4.25" tall box contains 9.5" long 12 volt motor-powered brass-plated metal car done in the style of the popular 1930s Mickey Mouse Lionel train hand cars. 4.75" tall Scrooge figure w/movable arms seems to propel toy. A bag of money sits opposite him. Also comes w/3" long "Money Bin" Trailcar/bank which was sold separately. Produced in the early 1980s by Pride Lines Ltd., who also manufactured replicas of the older Lionel toys and new, high quality Disney collectibles as showcased in included flyers and catalogs, etc. Box has illustrated image of toy w/numerous dollar signs hidden in the art. Box shows scattered wear w/some surface paper lifts to lid. Fine. Toys are NM. At time of issue, the handcar sold for $229, the Trailcar sold separately for $69. Great set.
