From same series as previous items #2082 and #2152. Complete set of eight marionettes, each complete w/controller unit and strings. Marionettes come w/six 6.75x24.5x2.25" deep original illustrated boxes w/Alexander Doll Co. name on box ends and each has stamped character name on end. Boxes for Grumpy, Bashful, Sneezy (2), Sleepy and Happy are included along w/8x14.5x3" deep original box w/Alexander Doll Co. label notes that box contains 12" tall "Snow White" marionette. Marionettes stand between 8.5" and 11.5" tall. Snow White box has original cardboard insert. All boxes show obvious wear, w/missing inner or end flaps, aging, dust soiling, creases and tears. VG overall. Comes w/"Walt Disney's Marionette Plays" script book which shows aging/wear w/pinch creases to spine. VG. Marionettes are superbly detailed and designed w/nice quality outfits (Dwarfs also have simulated leather belts w/metal buckles) and composition heads, hands and feet. Scattered crazing to some hands but VF/Exc. overall. We have only offered a few of these marionettes over our 47 years, this is a rare opportunity to obtain the full base set of eight all at once.
