24.5x31.75” wood frame has archival mat w/19.25x26.25” opening revealing India ink art w/ hand inked logo for May 11. Storyline includes 11 panels w/Chester and Uncle Bim discussing sick girl Rose Budd and her father. They bring her flowers, while her father Kain Budd is scheming on a tramp steamer. Last panel has superb ink work w/ship being hit by severe storm. Logo panel is signed in ink, art is complete w/ Chicago Tribune copyright sticker. Art board is separated between top and bottom tier as done by the artist, otherwise near Exc. One of the nicest Gus Edson originals we’ve ever seen. Ready for display.
