See item #2567. Offered here is lot of 13 blister cards, each 5.75x9" and containing one or two 2.75" tall "Dino-Riders" figures. Lot includes seven two-packs, w/a evil Rulon and heroic Valorian in each pack. Figures include - Krulos/Questar, Sludj/Mind-Zei, Drone/Hondo, Skwirm/Serena (2) and Snarrl/Ursus (2). These figures are from the first release, not the later releases that featured heavy use of metallic paints. 1989. Sealed on cards as issued, w/Krulos/Questar blister having been reattached. Drone/Hondo card has .75" puncture on backside to card into blister. Both cards are VG as a result while rest of cards are punched and Exc.-NM w/contents Mint as sealed. Rest of lot consists of six 5.75x9" blister cards, each containing a 2.75" tall "Commando" figure. Figures include unpunched Bomba (Munitions Expert), Kameelian (Infiltrator), Glyde (Paratrooper), (2, one punched and one unpunched) Faze (Artillery Expert) and unpunched Rok (Mountain Warfare Expert). Each figure comes w/specialty accessories. Sealed on cards as issued. Cards show some lt. wear but are o/w NM w/contents Mint as sealed. From the personal collection of Lee Volpe, Tyco Toy’s Manager, Director, and VP of New Product Development (1982–1994) who was involved from the beginning of the development of Dino-Riders, Garfield telephones and several other Tyco toys. These are the last examples from his collection being offered by us.
