Item Description
3.25x4" cardboard mount (marked "National Studios, Inc." of New York, NY.) holding original release glass slide for the 1933 mystery/horror film released by Warner Brothers/Vitaphone in two-color Technicolor and directed by Michael Curtiz. The movie starred Lionel Atwill, Fay Wray, Glenda Farrell, and Frank McHugh. This film is notable as the last dramatic fiction film made, along with Warners' Doctor X, in the two-color Technicolor process. Title slide features image of Lionel Atwill menacing Fay Wray. Cardboard mount has some staple rusting but slide is Exc.
