Item Description
c. early 1940s. Sizes range from 24.75” to 29.75” long. Names and makers (if known) are: “American Marksman #356, Paratrooper Arlington Toys, Invader”. One is made by famous pull toy maker Gong Bell. One has unusual back-forth ratchet and realistic formed air cooled barrel stamped “Hell Raiser”. All are made almost entirely of wood due to wartime metal need. All use ratchet. One is complete w/separate wood camouflage shield. All have scattered wear. Fine. All work and produce “ack-ack” sound.
