Drawing set by Yar (Richard Yardley of the “Baltimore Sun” ) #100 by Robert S. Paysee Chicago is © 1942. Box is 10.25x17-7/8x1.25” deep. Lid has art of boy drawing his own comic strip w/soldier character. Die-cut insert holds drawing pad, crayons, instructions, and printed cartoon example cards. Box has dust soil and aging. VG. Contents show some use, but overall Fine. Boxed crayons most likely not original. “Bizerte Gertie” game #4466 by Milton Bradley box is 9-5/8x19x1.75” deep ©1944. Lid is subtitled “Whacky Fun For Everyone” w/art of three soldiers looking at pretty girl in evening gown in moonlight. Complete w/instructions, game board, wooden playing pieces w/paper insert pictures, play money. Game is designed for “Buck Privates” to meet pretty girls in park and take them for walk on moonlit beach. Lid has edge wear. VG. Board is VF. One playing piece is missing Gertie insert picture, otherwise contents are VF. Creatively designed pair.
