Item Description
Vintage 8x10" still for 1934 Paramount Picture "The Old-Fashioned Way" that starred W.C. Fields shows him in costume holding his trademark top hat in hand as his co-star Baby LeRoy hits him over the head w/a hammer. Signed at upper left corner "Best Wishes Always - W.C. Fields" in blue ink. Fields played the Great McGonigle, the boisterous actor/manager of a traveling theater group that never has enough money and is always just one step ahead of the law. Still has some lt. aging and handling wear w/some creases at corners. Still also has some indentations from writing that are only visible in reflected light. Fine overall w/an Exc. signature area. As nice a W.C. Fields signed photo as you will find. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
