6.75x9” 1869 edition published by F.J. Huntington. 206 numbered pages w/numerous illustrations including tissue between two map illustrations. High quality morocco binding w/gilt on spine. Cover corners and spine edges have lt. wear, inside front cover has pulled totally loose at spine seam. Book otherwise clean and tight. Overall covers VG, contents VF. The park opened in 1857 on 843 acres, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1962. Historic w/superb design. Rare.
